Backlinks in every Growth report — and tracked over time

Until today a Webmatik audit told you everything about your site except one thing that decides how far it can rank: who links to it. That gap is closed for Growth plans.

What the report shows

A new Backlinks card sits in the SEO section of every Growth report:

• Referring domains — the number to watch — with the share that link dofollow, plus the raw backlink count and a spam score.
• Domain rank on DataForSEO's 0–1000 scale, so you can compare sites of any size.
• Gained and lost referring domains in the last 30 days.
• Your top linking sites, each with its rank, link count, spam score and the date the link was first seen.

Referring domains matter more than backlink counts: one spammy site can add thousands of links and nothing of value. The card says so, and the spam score tells you when that is happening to you.

You versus your competitors

If you track competitors for a site on the Site dashboard (up to three), the card compares referring domains, domain rank and 30-day gains and losses side by side — the same competitor list that powers AI Share of Voice, so one setting covers both.

History, not a snapshot

A backlink profile is most useful as a trend. Every Growth audit — including the scheduled monitoring re-audits — records it, and the Site dashboard now shows referring domains over time next to your score and AI-visibility trends, with the latest competitor comparison and top donors.
